System Specialist

A System Specialist manages system integration projects and develops custom solutions for various clients. Tasks will include programming or maintaining customer specific developments, problem analysis, trouble shooting, specification and testing. The System Specialist will work together with a Financial Consultant to identify and develop client-specific solutions.

You should have a strong knowledge of Oracle, Sybase and/or SQL server, of the UNIX and Windows platforms and be fluent in Perl and/or Python. Other development environments such as Java, VB and C# are a plus. An academic degree, experience of the Wallstreet Suite or other trading, risk management or ERP solutions are an advantage.

The position requires that you are fluent in English and preferably another European language. You should be prepared to travel and have a customer-oriented personality.
