SkySparc Strengthens Middle East Presence with New Dubai-based Entity

OmniFi enables extensive UAT automation, higher quality assurance, and faster migration

The challenge

As a major member of the Eurosystem, this central bank manages critical front-to-back treasury operations and risk management processes.
When preparing to upgrade its core platform, the bank aimed to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) as efficiently and securely as possible.

With over 500 transaction test cases required to verify migration accuracy, manual testing posed significant challenges in terms of time, consistency, and resource allocation. The bank sought a solution that could maximize automation, ensure full auditability, and safeguard operational stability.

“Reliability is our number one priority. As a central bank, we have strict testing requirements and need to ensure our systems operate in the most secure environment possible," - Project Manager, Banking Operations

The solution

Having previously partnered with SkySparc on earlier system upgrades, the central bank once again turned to SkySparc and its OmniFi platform to design a fully automated UAT process.

SkySparc’s consultants worked with the client to:

·       Configure automated loading and reconciliation of transactions across both legacy and new environments.

·       Enable parallel test execution, allowing the same transaction sets to be processed and compared automatically across versions.

·       Leverage OmniFi’s testing and reporting modules to eliminate manual data manipulation and spreadsheet-based reconciliation.

·       Provide knowledge transfer so the bank’s own users could manage and extend the UAT independently after initial setup.

“Using OmniFi means we can handle a higher number of transactions in less time, increasing coverage and certainty while reducing operational risk,” - Project Manager.

The result

The bank achieved exceptionally high levels of test automation, with nearly all 500 test cases executed automatically through OmniFi.
This not only shortened the migration timeline but also improved quality assurance and system reliability.

Key benefits included:

·       Comprehensive automated UAT, with minimal manual intervention

·       Earlier workload balancing, as test preparation shifted to pre-UAT stages

·       Reduced operational risk and greater transparency across all test results

·       Fast, auditable reconciliation between environments

·       Lower resource dependency, freeing staff for analytical and operational tasks

“Extensive use of OmniFi in the UAT process enabled us to achieve much higher levels of automation. Not only did this save time, but it also allowed us to shift much of the workload before the UAT stage,” - Project Manager

Quick Facts

·       Over 500 test cases fully automated via OmniFi

·       Parallel testing across environments improved efficiency and accuracy

·       Manual reconciliation eliminated, reducing operational risk

·       Shifted workload earlier, enabling smoother UAT scheduling

·       Faster, cleaner upgrade with minimal disruption to ongoing operations
